#3: Frey Pralinés magnifiques – Pear and Balsamic Vinegar

In this installment, we’re sampling the incredibly delicious duo of Pralinés magnifiques with both Pear and Balsamic Vinegar from Frey Switzerland.

These are definitely some of the most interesting chocolates I’ve ever had.  These are really truffles in the most basic sense.   In fact, the term Praliné means truffle in many parts of Europe.  For these chocolates, Cocoa dust or powdered sugar coat a hard shell of chocolate that surrounds an inner ganaché spiked with one of the two vinegars https://slotsonlinecanada.ca/ canada cialis generic.  It’s a very satisfying texture as a result.

Of course, it’s the unusual combination of chocolate with the vingear that makes this special.  Personally, I love this sort of unusual flavor combination since both the sweet taste of pear and the loamy balsamic flavor combined with the dramatic vinegar really makes for a satisfying taste.

Frey is absolutely one of my favorite chocolate producers.  What’s more, they offer a wide array of flavors at your local Target if you’re in the mood to try some great combinations of flavors with some high quality chocolate.

  1. I think the pear ones are made of pear vinegar. Where does one find pear vinegar, anyway? I bet it would be good on salads, along with in chocolate, of course!

  2. Awesome photo! I think I’m hungry. 🙂

I had a quick question. What did you do to get the Monotone WP Theme to work correctly so the color changes? Thanks.

  3. I had to go into the database in the options table I believe. The entry for this post used by Monotone was incorrectly encoded/serialized when compared to other posts. Once I fixed it for this particular image/post, the correct color showed up. Subsequent posts haven’t duplicated the problem so I think it was something particular to this specific image and may not be a Monotone WP problem at all but one of the supporting PHP libraries that does the colors.

If you want more details, let me know here.
